Gadi Caplan is a talented Israeli guitarist and composer based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
He is a diverse musician, originally trained as a classical pianist, Caplan switch to guitar at the age of 13 and developed a passion for rock and blues which took him on many journeys throughout the years, such as; India in 2004- 2005 where he studied traditional Indian music and sitar, New York City in 2006 where he joined various rock bands, and to Boston in 2007 to study jazz, fusion and funk along with composition at the Berklee College of Music. Upon arrival in Boston, Caplan started collaborating with different singers, jazz bands and rock bands, and formed his own band in 2008. All of these different elements of Caplan’s musical interests and influences are fused together brilliantly on his debut album â€Opposite Views†which is the result of 3 years of writing, arranging, recording and mixing and was released in January 2011.
