Hailing from Ecuador, talented singer Francisco Ruiz is fluent in a wide range of styles, including pop, salsa, and jazz. A dual Contemporary Writing and Production/Performance major at Berklee College of Music, Ruiz has been a part of several Ecuadorian groups, including the rock/pop group Vox Lumini and the vocal group Clone. He has also participated in independent projects such as a Dave Matthews tribute band, Satellite, the IMC Big Band, and the Salsa Orchestra of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Before attending Berklee, Ruiz received a full scholarship to attend the prestigious Conservatorio Sergei Rachmaninov in Ecuador. In addition to voice, his studies also include piano and guitar.

My Instrument
My voice has always been there (I think) for me. My first piano was my first investment, my first furniture, and my first debt. No regrets tho, we had great times together. Now is collecting dust in Ecuador and at least is the favorite place for my mom's two cats... oh well
