Eloise McDaniel Consortium....that's the name of my band which is mostly just me Sean Casey. Eloise is the name of my mysterious benefactor who lives somewhere south of Marathon Key....she promises to let me visit someday. In the meantime I write music which some describe as "confessional". Hopefully not too brooding but I know I'm guilty at times. I love Jackson Browne and John Hiatt and John Prine and Zevon and many others. I grew up in Lawrence MA singing Makem & Clancy songs at the Hibernian hall and of course in church. Recently started writing again after a 15 year hiatus. Don't remember deciding to hiate....it just happened. DON'T GIMME SHELTER, GIMME FEEDBACK PLEASE!!!!!

Life on the Street
Was playing an outdoor Memorial Day Mass and at a reflective moment the mic started feeding back. My friend/keyboardist took off running to turn down the gain...I of course started laughing in the middle of my solo....oops
Embarrassing Moment
See above, plus completely forgetting a song and thinking I could just start playing random chords and singing random lyrics and it would come to me ...it didn't!!!
My Instrument
Still have my first bass hanging on the wall...helluva lot of lumber. Love my axes but none more than my best friend Paul Halloran's Takamine that his family gave me when he died in a car accident on July 4th 1990 while going to see Peter, Paul & Mary.
