Doug’s influences and inspirations are quite amazing. Such influences begin with artists from the 1950’s like Sam Cooke to the British Invasion of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He often plays songs from the singer / songwriter’s of the 70’s like John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot and legendary rocker, Neil Young. You might even hear a cover of a Bob D
Playing on the street til 4AM watching the cops watch and listen to us as they circled the block 10 to 20 times, while the girls were dancing on the outdoor concrete tables down in Fells Point. What an awesome night.
Microphone got pushed into my face by a drunk lady....knocked out my cap....two songs into a four hour night. Got some crazy glue from the owner and stuck it back in, and then finished out my night.
Backed over it with my car.....crushed Ovation. Hate it when that happens!
