Hi, I'm Dennis Nelson. I started in the music business in the late 70's, building pyrotechnic effects for some of the local bands, went on to work as a sound/lighting tech for a couple of years. Hooked up with a pretty fair guitar player in '79 and I became a band manager (promoter, booking agent, book keeper, light sound tech, roady.....). He had the talent and I had the contacts (gigs). I even sang harmony/ background vocals from a mic at the soundboard. When the band broke up I left my musical aspirations behind and let real life intrude for many years. Now I play a little guitar, I write lyrics, sometimes the guitar and lyrics make a song!
