I have been trying to busk live in London, ON for about a year now. It has been a tough road! Not very supportive of live music in this city. I've been kicked out of many places! I've been compared to a vagrant, a panhandler... zero respect for musicians. I am welcome at Gibraltar's Flea Market on their outdoor patio. I used to busk inside but I was "too loud" apparently. Well, I'm a rocker! I can't help it! the best time I had was when a crowd gathered on Richmond Row when I was busking at night, dancing and singing along. I love putting a smile on people's faces and I definitely love it when they enjoy my music!
Most embarrassing moment busking live was getting kicked out of places... Most embarrassing moment on stage with my band was when I forgot my lyrics!
My first guitar was smashed by my oldest sister. she tripped down the stairs with it... I have several guitars. My main acoustic now is called "Baby." She has been with me for a very long time... since I was 12 yrs old! I have another acoustic I use to busk outdoors but I don't have a name for her as yet. My electrics all have names too. My Washburn Renegade is called "Black Beauty" and my Jackson Warrior is called "Kitty".
