I've never performed in the streets!
I did play with a band once at a town fair, but it was so cold and my fingers were numb while I played.
I used to play and sing at this restaurant, but I never really practiced before going. I would learn new songs in a day and try to play them, but then I'd forget the words, stop, and apologize in front of everyone! I was 15 at the time and I've learned to get a song list ready and to know all of the songs perfectly so I don't mess up and embarrass myself!
I bought my first guitar in December 2009, when I was 12. It was a cheap, crappy guitar but I started playing and taking lessons. Then in 2010 I got an Austin electric. In 2012 a friend gave me her Epiphone Gibson guitar, and later I traded in my acoustic and other electric guitar for a Taylor GS Mini, the guitar I play now.
I hate my electric guitar and rarely play it. I can play some lead, but I mainly play rhythm. His name is Taylor, b/c he is a Taylor guitar.
