Why did I start playing guitar? Because no one would buy me a drum set! My family gave me a hand drum and thought that would be fine for me instead of a drum set. Then my grandmother bought me a guitar but I didn't play it until I was 14, I wanted drums! I grew up listening to Rock, Punk, Alternative, Pop, Dance, Rap, Hip Hop and Funk.
I plan on doing a beginner guitar clinic on here soon ! Let me know if you are interested, if I get enough request i will do it ;)
Once on my first tour ever with a band we were staying in L.A. for a couple of days and wanted to go out. It was the middle of the week and not much was going at the hotel we were staying at so we asked the bartender at the hotel where to go. He gave us bad directions we got lost and found a club we thought was a dance club. There was a line to get in and they were picking people to let in. We were the only white girls in line, they picked us! We went in and discovered it wasn't just a dance club but a Stripper bar and dance club! While out on the dance floor we noticed a guy throwing a wade of cash all over the place making it rain! It was Tupac!!! We danced our way over to Tupac he turned around and started dancing with us! Sadly less then a month later he was killed.
While onstage at Skippers Smokehouse I slipped and fell off the stage about 5 feet onto the ground. It was an outside stage and it had rained. My side of the stage had a leak that I slipped right off into the crowd. The audience thought I meant to do it so I played it off. The band I was playing with never even noticed that I fell off that's how aware they were of me! lol
My second show with them I was playing a club in Louisianna and went outside to get some fresh air. I went to go back in and they wouldn't let me in because they didn't believe I was of age or in the band! I heard over the P.A. the band was looking for me finally a fan saw me trying to get back in and told the band what had happened they sent someone to get me. This happened to me at least 3 times.
I still have my first and most favorite guitar a 1989 Fender Strat Plus "Kitty" it is blue and has a kitty sticker on it. It wasthe first USA Strat I ever bought. It is my main guitar now.
