I'm Bleuenn Shaw, the happy outcome of a Breton accordion and an Irish banjo. My roots are Guinness-fed, I've a Rock n Roll heartbeat, and a Mohawk soul.
I got my first guitar at 8, wanting to sing some Bob Dylan but couldnt be arsed with so many chords... So I settled for the Foggy Dew. It was my first of many covers. 11 years of musicals, one-woman grunge-folk shows, soul piano sessions, celtic, punk, ska, and rock bands, trad sessions...
On the road since 2010, bog to bayou, I collect music and stories and it doesnt get old.
In 2015 I settled for a more coherent lifestyle, dedicating my time to music, writing, and people. So Im a full time busker and musician, waking up to wild birds with my cats from my 1982 van since then.
In 2016 I started Bleuenn Shaw & the Acoustic RoadShow in Brittany. Its a troubadours' ideal: we can work solo/duo/multi-O wherever, our solid core being Bristol-based.
The repertoire is vast: we'll put our hearts and strings to anything that resonates!
