I especially like getting an off-the-peg guitar then upgrading it to get the best possible return. I like playin em too.

Nothing to tell. I live in a House.
Most embarrassing moment for me was when I first started playing solo, I was hampered with stage fright, These days it don't bother me as much, but back then, I didn't use a guitar strap and the seat I was using was too high, resulting in my leg shaking so much with nerves my guitar slipped right off my knee as I was playing.
After that, I always use a strap, even while I'm sitting and I also stuck a Velcro strip to the underside of my performance guitars.
My first real acoustic guitar was left to me in my uncle's will, I was aged about six. It was way too big for me at the time, but it planted the seed. Unfortunately some of my friends at the time borrowed it for their school play. it was returned minus the strings, and was written on all over in ball-point pen. I learnt how to box then.:)
My most favorite Guitar is my modified Washburn 12 string. I bought it off the shelf a few years back, Replaced the machine-heads with locking ones; replaced the Peizo pickup with a K&K transducer system and fitted a zero fret. and as you have probably guessed, I call it Washy.
