More About Barefoot1

Im Thom Yeoman, an Americana singer/ songwriter from Reno, Nevada. Im in a band called The New Harvesters, but I also do shows solo acoustic and have been since 2004. Ive played all over the whole country, well from California as far east as Indiana. Idaho to Texas. You can find out more about my band at www.reverbnation.com/thenewharvesters
I started out in the 80's trying to copy Eddie Van Halen. Then I was drawn to Nirvana and the whole Grunge thing. I was a roadie for an Americana band called The Lazy Eights for 8 years. They changed my musical taste. Showed me bands like Wilco, Todd Snider, Jack Ingram, Robert Earle Keen, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt and so much more. When That band broke up I started playing music full time on my own. I have never looked back. And now 16 years later, I am now the singer of the band I roadied for. CRAZY. I play every day at home, so I figure...why not broadcast it on the internet to make a few buck. So here I am, I hope to find people who enjoy this

Fun Stuff about the Artist

Life on the Street

One time I was playing a show in Arizona. There were some people from France on vacation watching. This girl came up on stage and stood next to me and stared at me for 3 songs. Close enough that I thought she might kiss me. It was very awkward.

My Instrument

I have many guitars. I guess the one who wants to be talked about is my newest one. Its a greatch with a bigsby. I named it Jenne after my wife because she allows me to be a full time musician without having a job. She is letting me go for it and I am. So that how my new guitar got its name.
