Hello there. I'm Ally, a singer songwriter from England.
Many musicians say this, but I really have been performing since I was a child. Perhaps being an artist can't always be learnt - it's just something we yearn for: a little praise and recognition for our passions and our talents. We all want that in some form, but for me it must be alongside music.
I was performing solos at local events from 5 years of age, eagerly encouraging weekly performances in front of my juniors school classes, all through my teens playing at local pubs and charity events to now, where I'm back to the bedroom phase.
I've just completed a BA in Creative Writing which has massively contributed to helping my songwriting skills. I want to get back into the field. I've always had a huge struggle with social and performance anxiety, so having not performed solo for such a long time is pretty scary for me. I want to kick anxiety in the butt and find my audience. This is my chance to find that acceptance.
