More About Alderoth

I started playing music at the age of 8 with piano and eventually upgraded to guitar when I got into Megadeth, Nirvana, and Social Distortion. From there I started branching out and now my influenced range from Otis Redding to Fear Factory. I have played a lot of shows over the years but lost my spark once I went through the military. Now i'm just enjoying my time with my instruments and recording software. If something happens then so be it. Won't change what i'm doing anyway.

Fun Stuff about the Artist

Life on the Street

I was doing a show at the Boardwalk Cafe in Nashville TN with two randomly selected writers. I didn't have any confidence or well I merely spoke the truth about just wanting to have a good time and one of the guy's on stage kept heckling me about not being positive or having a self centered attitude. Once the set was finished I ended up getting a huge response for the fact that I kept playing and didn't let the guy get to me. It was tense for the whole set but I just stuck to myself and just played through my set. In the end I gained fans as he lost some.

Embarrassing Moment

I was doing a show at Douglas Corner in Nashville TN. I didn't have much money at the time since I was a dish washer for a local eatery. I got on stage with Mrs. Judy Rodman the best vocal coach in all of Nashville and proceded to tune my guitar for a show I truly wasn't ready for. I ended up breaking a string during tuning and of course the whole place roared with laughter. I just chuckled and was said "oops". At that moment the guy next to me offered me his guitar but I said screw it. I got the embarasing moment out of the way now it's time to play. Did my set and was congratulated for not losing it.

My Instrument

The best setup I had was a Gibson SG with an EMG-81 added to the bridge. I had also built my own amp head and used an Ibanez cabinet with Celestion V-30's in it. I ran a Line 6 Floor POD XT Live. Once I was divorced a supposed friend was going to hold on to it but later on when I asked for it back he didn't respond. Soon I found out he sold it all. The only thing I miss is the Guitar which has a name tape on it from a 1SGT that I had met in Iraq the day he was killed. Now all of that equipment is gone.
