Timeline..
1973. School finally over, summer holiday job and my first pay packet blown on a guitar.
1977-2015. Several bands, more guitars, basses and synths.
Played in a mix of both covers and originals bands, wrote a few songs *most of which never got performed live (until now!!!)
Late 2015. A combination of good music, sunshine, alcohol and a campfire at a festival in Kent, UK - A Bloke Called Maddy was "born".
2015-2020. After decades with being in the "comfort" of 3,4 or 5 piece bands the courage to "stand alone" was gained from campfire tunes with drunken friends and the occasional fellow musician camped nearby to open mic nights where I met a load of great, talented local musicians who encouraged and advised me on the good and bad of my performances.
2020/2021. And here we are - I've live streamed to hundreds of people around the world, had the streams watched by many thousand in total.

My first instrument is here, across the room from me - A 48 year old nylon acoustic. One day this will get played live - I love nostalgia!
