I started out taking piano lessons when I was 5-years old. I began playing the oboe in my high school band and fell in love with it! Now, I have a master's degree in Oboe Performance and have played oboe in a professional orchestra for more than 20 years. Lately, I feel like I want to do something more creative with my music and to make it more accessible to people. I still enjoy playing the oboe (and English horn), but I also enjoy playing/singing pop and folk tunes on the ukulele and piano. I even have started writing some original songs. My goal is to inspire people with what's possible and to show that you don't have to be put in a genre box. Let's explore!
